Brief: Killer Alien

Game's Brief

Idea 1:

Theme of the game:

First person, horror style game, forest where the player is being chased by several clowns in the game while trying to reach outside of the forest. With only having limited weapons and ammunition across the map to make some tension for the player and being careful with items they have.

Gameplay:

The Player would be stuck in a forest where they would scavenge and survive during the night while running and hiding from the Clowns. The goal of the game is to get out of the forest with little no injury. If the player is captured they will die immediately.

If the clowns come together as a group, they will have a small screech sounding when grouped up. To give player as a notification of a pack of killer Clowns are nearby. The Clowns will be hunted by several different types of clowns across the forest. More the player tries to reach edge of the forest, tougher the situation becomes.

Map:

Majority of the map will be covered in a forest. They will be run down villages around the forest containing different resources like weapons and ammunition that can be used by the player. But they are few and far between them, making them rare.

At the middle of the map is where most concentration of clowns they are. There would be there ships which will look like Circus tents. There will be large weapon stock they're but it will be difficult to gain because of the large pack clowns without getting spotted.

Weapons/Items/Equipment:


The most basic weapon will be plank of wood that can be destroying a barrel which will drop a plank. The play can use it to knock out clowns from behind. It will only have three stacks, with each use it will remove a stack. When stack reaches zero; the plank breaks itself.

There will be simple guns like handheld pistols. Which are uncommon and hard to find ammunition for. It will not be silent, when fired it will cause any Clowns to react to the sound and run to last known position.

Story:

The story is that player who he is playing is an alien that escaped from the prison. Which the ship crashed landed on Earth. The escaped prisoner (the player) has escaped the ship and ran for refuge somewhere but the prisoner would need to leave the forest. When he does, he could call for help from the others for extermination of Clowns who had captured him.

Game's Target:

The game is to contrast the hard core futuristic sci-fi trend, with human character beating the bad guy. Instead the game will have its main character being a foreign aliens that crashed on Earth running away from Killer Clowns, while being hunted for recapture.

Idea 2:

Theme of game:

Third person shooter game. Where the player is an alien prisoner setting free the other prisoners, creating a rebel on the ship that crashed on Earth. The player has a set of different alien weapons on the ships.

Gameplay:


Cover system and having protection from enemy fire. Surviving from Aliens in the ship via using guns and melees to fight back. Playing close quarters, style wreckage ship with scattered items and equipment.

Map:

The map will be small and linear in wreckage styled map. The colour pallet will be colour but mostly between yellow and red for the theme "Killer Klowns". Tight corners, open corridors, closed windows. There will be dangling wires, fires, damaged and cracked windows.

The story is about "Killer Klowns" having captives from other planets. Suddenly getting affect by electrical surge by one of the prisoners. Causing the ship to crash down on Earth. Causing alot captives go free and causing a riot and trying to escape the ship.

Following the latest trends of the gaming entertainment of hardcore sci-fi actions games.
